Yes, each year we update our tax preparation checklist to include all necessary information that may be required to prepare and file your tax return. Download Checklist
Do I need to book an appointment to start the preparation of my tax return?
Most of the time an appointment is not necessary if there is little to no change from the previous year. We do recommend booking an appointment if you do have significant life changes or have specific tax related questions you would like to address before proceeding. Book a Tax Prep appointment
Can I just send in my tax docs without scheduling an appointment or calling ahead of time?
Yes, we can always start your tax preparation the moment you send us your documents. We encourage everyone to visit taxstart.amsproserv.com for all the convenient ways to get us your tax docs.
How do I check the refund status of my tax return?

I received a notice/letter from a tax agency regarding a past tax return?
Notices & letters are generated for a variety of reasons. Please submit a service ticket and attach a copy of the notice or letter. We will perform an initial review and communicate the next steps.

What is the cutoff for providing employee payroll timesheets to AMS ProServ for processing?
We need to receive payroll numbers by 2pm two business days before your employees are paid.

How do we update employee information such as pay rates, deductions & direct deposit account?
The best way to update any information related to existing employees payroll is to submit a service ticket.
We hired a new employee, how do we get them added to payroll?
Login to SmartVault under Public Documents folder download the New Employee Hire Packet.
